Things I’m grateful for this week…
This last few months have been truly life changing for me and Buttercup Ink. And that’s no understatement. I have connected with so many amazing business women recently and it has completely shifted my thinking. I can now see that the possibilities are LIMITLESS for my business (+ life) and it’s an amazing feeling. Just connecting with these smart ladies is pulling me forward at such a rate. For this, I am so grateful.
So I just wanted to take the time to share with you some of the little things I’m thankful for in my life this week…
My beautiful super-powered shiny new Mac!
I’ve been thinking about a new Mac for quite some time now so decided on Monday that I was just going to take the plunge and buy one. Because both me and Buttercup Ink are worth it. It’s been over 5 years since bought my trusty little MacBook so was definitely time for an upgrade!
Would Picasso use old brushes? I think not!
I’ve also switched over to storing all my work files on Dropbox so I can access them anywhere. This is a major step for me. I’m going to be travelling overseas later this year and love that I have unchained myself from the desk. I truly have a ‘global’ business now. It feels so liberating!
Hot water bottles It often surprises people just how cold it can get down here in Melbourne! But believe me, it’s mighty cold at the moment! I was working a little later than usual on Tuesday night and was SO happy when I climbed into bed and my husband had put a hot water bottle on my side for me! It’s those little things that make me love him all the more. Unexpected gifts from distant friends I received a beautiful package this morning from friend in NY for my baby boy. This is a friend who I haven’t seen in almost 10 years and who has never met my boys. We connect occasionally via Facebook and email and every time, it feels like yesterday since we last spoke. I love when people come into your life who are energetically aligned with you and you just click. I am so grateful for these beautiful, special life long friendships.
